Hello Tuscany residents!
I am sure by now everybody has seen the massive amount of work happening on Eagle Road. Most would assume this means the Tuscany land has already been sold to ACHD but that is not the case. The Tuscany HOA is still unable to sell the land due to the language in our CC&Rs. As you recall, we tried last year to amend the CC&Rs so we could negotiate a favorable outcome for the community. Unfortunately, we did not receive enough votes for it to pass and our hands are still tied. After recently discussing options with ACHD, if the HOA waits for the eminent domain process to play out, this can potentially be quite time-consuming, and we lose the ability to negotiate certain aspects of the deal. The board wants to ensure the best outcome for Tuscany and therefore we are re-opening the voting for the CC&R amendment. Please watch for the mailing from BCPM as it will contain all the information. We really hope to gather enough votes to get this passed so that we can control some of what is happening and ensure the funds do not get tied up in a long legal process.
Tuscany officially has a new management company! Please welcome BCPM, they took over management of our community starting on March 15th. Everybody should have received a welcome letter with information on how to contact them as well as how to access your online account. If you did not, please reach out to them at tuscany@bcpm.biz or call them at 208-906-0638.
You may have noticed that some landscaping has been removed from parts of the entrances and new topsoil has been brought in. The Tuscany entrances will soon have year-round flowers in these areas like what you see at the Silverstone business complex just down Eagle Road. Since the project timing could not be aligned for winter/spring plantings, this year will start with summer plantings which are scheduled to be installed towards the latter half of May. Going forward there will be plantings all year long which will provide much-needed interest and color to these areas.
Albertsons will soon be breaking ground on their Amity and Eagle Road store. The board has been in contact with the construction company managing this and will be meeting with them soon to review project details and ask questions. As more information becomes available, we will post it to the website.
It is now April and that means it is time for the Tuscany Annual Meeting! The board of directors is finalizing details for this with the new management company and information will be posted to the website soon. Letters will also be mailed out to every homeowner.
Wednesday, April 7th is the next monthly board meeting. Details for how to join can be found on the website calendar.
Thank you,
Tuscany Board of Directors
