Spring is fast approaching, and with it comes a number of exciting events.
Arbor Safe will be in the neighborhood starting Tuesday, March 5 removing a number of dead or dying trees. Please watch out for their equipment and keep a respectful distance from the workers to ensure everyone’s safety.
Work on the Palermo entrance is scheduled to begin in the coming weeks. Watch out for crews and machinery in the entrance as you are exiting and entering the subdivision along Locust Grove. There may be times when one side or the other will be closed, but the entrance should remain available at all times.
The Tuscany Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, March 30 at 10:00 a.m. in the Siena Elementary Playground. Even more eggs than last year will be scattered about for the kids to collect, but be sure to get there early because they go fast! Watch for additional information to come.
The Activities Committee will need assistance filling all the eggs with candy, goodies, and cash, so watch for notices about the upcoming Easter Egg Stuffing Party to be held at the Clubhouse. This has proven to be a fun event for the folks willing to come out and volunteer their time. Food and beverages will be provided.
The CC&R amendment for parking within Tuscany is still short by a couple hundred votes. In order to pass it needs “Yes” votes from 50% + 1 (540) of the homeowners. To date, 307 homeowners have voted in favor of the amendment, while 92 have voted against it. This is an important amendment that cleans up the verbiage in the CC&Rs and will ensure Tuscany remains the quality, comfortable community we saw it to be when we made it our home. You can view and print the ballot here. The completed ballot can be mailed or hand delivered to:
Tuscany Homeowners Association, Inc.c/o Alliance Management Partners, LLC1520 E Heritage Park St., Ste. 125Meridian, ID 83646
You can also drop your ballot in the drop box hanging from the fence along the Clubhouse patio. Be sure to make your voice heard!
We’ve had a warm winter and pleasant February. The tulips and other bulbs are already starting to poke their heads up. Lawns are starting to come back, and with them come the weeds. Start thinking now about applying a fertilizer with pre-emergent on your lawns to green them up and stop the weeds before they take root.
