As many residents have already noticed, there seems to be an uptick in traffic and speeding through the subdivision. This creates a dangerous situation for all members of the community, especially the children.
If you find yourself in a hurry and traveling at a faster speed than you should be while within Tuscany, please take a moment to think about how much worse your day would be if you hit a child. Speeding and inattentive driving lead to avoidable accidents that we would all prefer to see avoided.
The Board has been told that ACHD is doing a couple different surveys within the subdivision to consider permanent flashing speed control signs and potentially speed bumps. We cannot say when the ACHD will complete their surveys or what their final decisions will be, but we want the community to know that the Board is fully in support of taking action to help improve the safety on our streets.
